Bombay Firsts
The Bombay was granted Championship status by CFA in 1976.  Their rise in distinction was dramatic; within ten years the breed had produced three National Winners and numerous Grand Champions and Grand Premiers.  The first Bombay Grand Champion, Kejo Kyrie, achieved the title in 1976.  She is shown on the right, as she appeared on the cover of CATS Magazine in 1977.
